(em)POWER TRAINING
(em)Powering Trainers / em(Powering) Women
The (em)Power Training Program is an experiential personal training certification program for women offered through Ladies Workout Express in Toco Hills, Atlanta. Unique to (em)POWER TRAINING is the program’s holistic approach to supporting modern women in their daily struggles to incorporate physical fitness and self-care into their busy lives. (em)POWER personal trainers not only learn how to utilize training techniques in a spectrum of health and fitness levels; they also learn important coaching skills to support their clients to ensure their long-term success.
More than a weekend workshop or online training certification, the (em)POWER TRAINING program provides one-on-one guidance to ensure our graduates are fully prepared as confident and knowledgable personal trainers. Program participants receive academic and practical instruction and mentoring from highly experienced health and fitness professionals, as well as practical experience training real clients of various ages and fitness levels, as well as those with physical limitations.
em(POWER) is a 16-week program that includes 300 hours of lecture and practical, hands-on experience, ensuring time to integrate the material, complete book studies, and prepare for a variety of “live” training sessions. Through the program’s apprenticeship and mentoring sessions, participants are exposed to a wide-range of clients, styles of classes, and training techniques.
The em(POWER) Training Program is expected to begin early October, 2011 and can be completed in three to six months (minimum/maximum). Length of the program depends on the student's weekly availability, commitment and access to clients during apprenticeship. Total cost for the program is $2100 if paid in full by September 21st, 2011 or $2300 after. Tuition includes all lectures, practical training, materials, NCAA certification exam, mentoring, and full access to the Ladies Workout Express facility & classes.
